Its been awhile since I posted. Been having a few really late nights this week. Been seeing the sun before I get a chance to close my eyes. Went to see Common last night. Great to see him live. Think I need to get more sleep.

When I get blocks its always nice to return to just pen and paper. Always feels good to just draw and not think too much.

Came across this artist - Suehiro Maruo. Disturbing stuff and yet completely hypnotic. Maruo work reminds me of old movie posters, vampires and pulp manga. I think he's responsible for my nightmare I experienced a few nights ago. Its been the worst dream to date. So looking at his work in the safety of daylight, there is a sense of warm familarity, a dark deja vu.
